‘The Point’ progresses in development

DAILY HERALD – Another unveiling, a revised more eco-friendly version of Brandt Andersen’s Lehi Project, was broadcast statewide last week from his Flash Factory in north Lehi.

Dubbed The Point, the Frank Gehry-designed community and commercial center plans for 85 acres south of The Point of the Mountain will begin going through the developing process with Lehi City immediately.

“This name maintains the integrity of [the] area and allows the focus to remain on the architecture,” said Andersen in a Sept. 24 press release. “The Point of the Mountain is recognized not only as the bridge point between Utah and Salt Lake Counties, but also as the center point for the state.”
