As part of the nation-wide Blueprint for America project, AIA Northern Utah offered to assist Morgan County and the Mountain Green Area Plan Committee to create a vision and plan for its town center. From October 17-20, design professionals and other experts recruited by the AIA volunteered their time in an intense, four-day workshop to develop a set of recommendations to create the framework for a sustainable, livable, and walkable town center. The process involved Mountain Green’s citizens, land owners, developers, business owners, and county officials in the development of the plan and the implementation strategy.
