DAILY HERALD – Change is an oft heard topic from the political podium and the pulpit these days and Payson city officials are leading downtown Payson in its own agenda for change.
Payson city manager Richard Nelson told the Payson Lions Club Thursday, October 9, that Walgreens Pharmacy is planning to locate on the northeast corner of First North and Main in 2009. El Marcadito, an Hispanic market, and Payson Sports and Trophy will re-locate; the owners of the market are currently re-furbishing the art and frame store a block west at First West and First North while a location for Payson Sports and Trophy has not been announced.
